Ingredients
- Apple - 3 pieces
- Orange zest - 1 piece
- Honey - 4 tablespoons
- Pistachios - 0.7 oz
- Cantaloupe - 1.8 oz
- Ground Cinnamon - to taste
Step by Step guide
Step 1
Core the apples. Then place the apples in a suitable deep baking dish.
Step 2
Preheat the oven to 356°F.
Step 3
Pour honey inside the apples.
Step 4
Peel the orange with a knife, then cut it into rectangles measuring 5x20 mm. Sprinkle the apple skins over the apples.
Step 5
Squeeze the juice from the peeled orange onto the apples.
Step 6
Cut the cantaloupe into small pieces. Place one piece inside each apple. Scatter the remaining pieces around the dish.
Step 7
Sprinkle everything with cinnamon and pine nuts.
Step 8
Reduce the oven temperature to the minimum. Place the dish in the oven for 20–30 minutes (depending on your preferred level of doneness for the apples).
