Baked Apples with Cottage Cheese and Cranberries
Ingredients
- Apple - 4 pieces
- Cottage cheese - 5.3 oz
- Dried cranberries with sugar - 1.8 oz
- Light Raisins, Seedless - 1.8 oz
- Honey - to taste
- Walnuts - to taste
Step by Step guide
Step 1
Cut off the tops of the apples. Use a spoon to scoop out the flesh, leaving walls that are 1 cm thick.
Step 2
Mix the cottage cheese with the cranberries (they can be used frozen) and raisins.
Step 3
Stuff the apples with the cottage cheese mixture and cover with the cut-off tops. Place them in a baking dish. Pour a little water into the bottom of the dish to prevent the apples from drying out. Place in a preheated oven at 356°F for 20 minutes.
Step 4
Serve the apples on plates. Drizzle with honey. Sprinkle with chopped walnuts.
