Ingredients
- Apple - 4 pieces
- Dried Apricots - 1.8 oz
- Dates - 1.8 oz
- Ground Breadcrumbs - 1 tablespoon
- Ground Cinnamon - ½ spoons
- Honey - 1 tablespoon
- Butter - 0.7 oz
- Apricot Jam - 2 spoons
- Nutmeg - to taste
Step by Step guide
Step 1
Preheat the oven to 356°F. Grease a baking dish with butter.
Step 2
Remove the core from the apples and, using a sharp knife, make a shallow cut around the circumference of each apple to prevent them from splitting during baking.
Step 3
Mix the chopped dried apricots, chopped dates, breadcrumbs, cinnamon, warm honey, and apricot jam. Divide the mixture among 4 apples and press down with your fingers. Place a piece of butter on top of each apple and transfer to a baking dish.
Step 4
Bake for 45-50 minutes until the apples are tender; check with a toothpick. Serve warm, drizzled with ice cream and chocolate syrup.
