- Granny Smith apples - 4 pieces
- Cinnamon - 4.2 oz
- Cardamom - 1.4 oz
- Fructose - 7.1 oz
- Wheat Flour - 14.1 oz
- Butter - 11.3 oz
- Ground clove - 0.7 oz
- Star anise - 0.7 oz
- Nutmeg - 0.7 oz
- Vanilla Ice Cream - to taste
Step by Step guide
Step 1
Mix 40 grams of cinnamon, 20 grams of cardamom, and 80 grams of fructose.
Step 2
Coat the apples in this mixture and wrap each apple in foil.
Step 3
Place in a preheated oven at 356°F (356 degrees Fahrenheit) for 25 minutes.
Step 4
Prepare the ginger cookies. Mix the flour, butter, remaining fructose, cinnamon, and cardamom. Add nutmeg.
Step 5
Knead the dough.
Step 6
Crush the cloves and star anise and add to the dough. Knead again.
Step 7
Roll out the dough and place in a preheated oven at 356°F (356 degrees Fahrenheit) for 20 minutes.
Step 8
When serving, warm the apples and sprinkle with ginger cookies.
Step 9
Optionally, add a scoop of ice cream.
