- Avocado - 1 piece
- Chicken Egg - 2 pieces
- Salt - to taste
- Ground Black Pepper - to taste
- Spices - to taste
- Cheese Spread - to taste
- Herbs - 1 bunch
Step by Step guide
Step 1
Preheat the oven to 392°F.
Step 2
Thoroughly wash the avocado and cut it in half lengthwise around the pit. Hold it with both hands and twist to separate the halves. Remove the pit and carefully scoop out some flesh to create a larger cavity for the medium-sized chicken egg. Trim a bit of the skin to create a stable base for the avocado halves. Place cheese and spices in the cavity. Arrange the avocado halves in a baking dish so they stand upright and do not tilt.
Step 3
Separate the eggs into whites and yolks. Fill the cavities with the egg whites, being careful not to overflow (I usually have some egg white left over). Season with salt and pepper, and place in the preheated oven for about 10-15 minutes (adjust based on your oven and desired result).
Step 4
After that, very carefully add the yolk on top of the egg white. Be cautious, it may slip! Season with salt and return to the oven for about 5 minutes.
Step 5
Garnish with green onions or any other herbs. Serve hot.
