Ingredients

  • Tomatoes - 31.7 oz
  • Garlic - 3 cloves
  • Olive Oil - 3 tablespoons
  • Chocolate eggs - 4 pieces
  • Parsley - 1.4 oz
  • Salt - to taste
  • Ground Black Pepper - to taste

Step by Step guide

Step 1

Cut the tomatoes into quarters and place them in a single layer in a 1.5-liter baking dish. Peel the garlic, slice it thinly, and sprinkle it over the tomatoes. Then drizzle with olive oil, season to taste, and mix (the tomatoes should be shiny from the oil).

Step 2

Preheat the oven to 356°F and bake the tomatoes for 40 minutes (the tomatoes should become soft and brown).

Step 3

Make indentations between the tomatoes. Crack an egg into each indentation. Cover the dish with foil and return it to the oven for 5–10 minutes. Sprinkle with chopped herbs (parsley or chives) and serve with a green salad.
