Ingredients
- Olive Oil - 1 tablespoon
- Onion - 1 head
- Mild Chili Spice - 1 piece
- Garlic - 1 clove
- Baking Tomatoes - 14.1 oz
- Gnocchi - 17.6 oz
- Fresh basil leaves - to taste
- Melted Cheese - 4.4 oz
Step by Step guide
Step 1
Preheat the grill.
Step 2
Heat the oil in a large skillet, then sauté the onion and pepper for 5 minutes.
Step 3
Add the garlic and sauté for another 1 minute.
Step 4
Add the tomatoes and gnocchi and bring to a boil. Cook for 10-15 minutes, stirring occasionally, until the gnocchi are soft and the sauce thickens. Season with salt and add the basil.
Step 5
Then transfer to a large ovenproof dish.
Step 6
Sprinkle with shredded mozzarella and place under the grill for 5-6 minutes, until the cheese melts and turns golden.
