Description
It can be eaten just like that, with a yogurt or sour cream dressing. This pumpkin is amazing in a fruit salad! For those who are NOT FANS of pumpkin. The taste and aroma of pumpkin disappear after this treatment! It tastes like pineapple or mango; different varieties of pumpkin change the flavor differently.
Ingredients
- Pumpkin - 2 lbs
- Lemon - 1 piece
- Sugar - 2.6 oz
Step by Step guide
Step 1
Cut the pumpkin into cubes of about 2x2 cm. Place in a baking dish.
Step 2
Add the lemon zest. Remove the bitter white peel from the lemon. Cut it and add to the pumpkin.
Step 3
Sprinkle the pumpkin with lemon with sugar. Mix well. Place in the oven and bake covered at 347°F for 40 minutes.
Step 4
Remove from the oven, check for sweetness. Bake uncovered for another 10 minutes.
Step 5
Allow to cool completely.
