- Milk - 17 fl oz
- Wheat Flour - 7.1 oz
- Eggs - 2 pieces
- Sugar - 1 tablespoon
- Cottage cheese - 14.1 oz
- Butter - 1 teaspoon
- Egg yolks - 4 pieces
- Oranges - 1 piece
- Powdered Sugar - 4 tablespoons
- 30% Cream - 7 fl oz
- Candied Orange Peel - 2 tablespoons
- Vanilla Sugar - 1½ teaspoons
- Brown Sugar - 1 tablespoon
Step by Step guide
Step 1
Make a liquid batter from milk, flour, 2 eggs, and 1 tablespoon of sugar, and prepare the pancakes.
Step 2
Mix the cottage cheese with 2 yolks, 2 tablespoons of powdered sugar, and the candied peel.
Step 3
Place a spoonful of filling on a pancake and roll it up like a tube or envelope. Arrange the pancakes in a greased baking dish.
Step 4
Mix 2 yolks with the cream, vanilla sugar, and 1 tablespoon of powdered sugar.
Step 5
Pour this mixture into the dish and place it in a preheated oven at 180°C (350°F) for 15 minutes.
Step 6
Meanwhile, use a vegetable peeler to remove the zest from the orange (thinly) and cut it into strips, squeezing out the juice.
Step 7
In a saucepan, heat a piece of butter, the zest, and a tablespoon of brown sugar, then add a teaspoon of powdered sugar and the orange juice. Heat on low, stirring, for about 5 minutes.
Step 8
Serve the pancakes warm, drizzled with the orange sauce.
