Step 1
Preheat the oven to 428°F. Grease a baking sheet with vegetable oil.
Step 2
Cut the peaches in half and remove the pits. Transfer to a bowl and mix with lemon juice and sugar.
Step 3
Place the peaches on the baking sheet, cut side up, and bake in the oven for 20–30 minutes until soft (if the juice from the peaches starts to burn, add a little water and cover the baking sheet with foil).
