Description
Other dry sparkling wines will work as well, but it’s much better with Prosecco.
Ingredients
- Donut Peaches - 8 pieces
- Prosecco - 23 fl oz
- Sugar - 2 spoons
- Lemon - 1 piece
- Ginger - 1.8 oz
- Basil - 1.8 oz
- Fresh Mint - 0.7 oz
Step by Step guide
Step 1
Cut the peaches in half, remove the pits, and place them in an oven preheated to 356°F for twenty minutes.
Step 2
Meanwhile, pour a bottle of Prosecco into a deep saucepan, add the sugar, grated ginger, and squeeze in the lemon juice. Place it over low heat.
Step 3
Once the peaches are roasted, transfer them to the broth made from wine and lemon juice and simmer for another fifteen to twenty minutes. Then, mix in the chopped mint and basil. Allow to infuse before serving.
