Baked Pears with Cornflakes

Ingredients

  • Pears - 4 pieces
  • Butter - 1 piece
  • Spices - ½ teaspoon
  • Honey - 0.1 oz
  • Coconut flakes - 1.8 oz
  • Chopped almonds - 0.9 oz

Step by Step guide

Step 1

Preheat the oven to 392°F. Cut the pears in half lengthwise, remove the cores, then place a small piece of butter on top and sprinkle with your favorite spices. Place the pears in a shallow baking dish, then roast for 5 minutes until they become soft. Meanwhile, heat the honey in a large bowl in the microwave for 30 seconds. Add the cornflakes and nuts.

Step 2

Take the pears out of the oven, then top with the cornflakes. Bake for another 5 minutes. Allow to cool for a few minutes, serve warm with vanilla or yogurt ice cream.
