Ingredients
- Persimmon - 2 pieces
- Powdered Sugar - 0.7 oz
- Sea Buckthorn - 7.1 oz
- Sugar - 1.1 oz
- Goat cheese - 3.5 oz
- Pistachios - 0.7 oz
Step by Step guide
Step 1
Prepare all the ingredients. Preheat the oven to 428°F on the grill setting.
Step 2
Cut the persimmons in half and place them on a baking sheet cut side up. It is preferable to choose seedless persimmons for this dessert, but if they have seeds, they should be removed.
Step 3
Sprinkle each half with powdered sugar and place in the oven for 10 minutes, until the cut side is covered with a light caramel crust.
Step 4
Blend the sea buckthorn with sugar in a blender, then strain through a sieve to remove seeds and skins.
Step 5
Toast the pine nuts in a dry skillet until golden brown.
Step 6
Pour a little sea buckthorn sauce onto a serving plate.
Step 7
Place the baked persimmons on the sauce.
Step 8
Top the persimmons with cheese.

Sprinkle the baked persimmons with pine nuts and serve.
