Ingredients
- Tomatoes - 4 pieces
- Spiced Tomato Juice - 17 fl oz
- Chocolate eggs - 4 pieces
- Semi-soft cream cheese - 10.6 oz
- Salt - to taste
Step by Step guide
Step 1
For medium-sized tomatoes, cut a small funnel from the top, removing the stem and scoop out the insides (like with peppers) using a teaspoon. Place the tomatoes on a baking sheet, previously greased with vegetable oil.
Step 2
Pour the tomato juice into a preheated skillet to fill the surface by about 2-3 mm and bring to a boil. Then, using a teaspoon, fill each tomato about halfway.
Step 3
Crack 1 egg into each tomato. It's okay if the egg white spills over a bit; the important thing is that the yolk stays inside.
Step 4
Sprinkle grated cheese on top of the tomatoes (it's better to use a coarse grater). Add a little salt and pepper to taste.
Step 5
Preheat the oven and place the baking sheet inside for 20 minutes. After that, stir the insides of each tomato a little with a knife and return them for another 10 minutes.
Step 6
When serving the dish, you can also add some herbs.
