Description
Store the cookies in a metal or plastic container.
Ingredients
- Wheat Flour - 5.6 oz
- Butter - 3.5 oz
- Powdered Sugar - 1.4 oz
- Egg white - 1 piece
- Vanilla salt - 1 piece
- Starch film - ½ teaspoon
- Jam - 1 tablespoon
Step by Step guide
Step 1
Remove the butter from the refrigerator and let it soften at room temperature.
Step 2
Add powdered sugar to the bowl with the butter and thoroughly mix until homogeneous.
Step 3
Add 1 room temperature egg white and vanilla sugar to the butter mixture, gently mix. Gradually add 160 g of sifted flour and knead a soft dough.
Step 4
Do not knead for too long. Transfer the dough to a pastry bag fitted with a star tip and pipe small ribbed cookies onto a greased baking sheet (or line the baking sheet with parchment paper).
Step 5
Place the cookies spaced apart from each other.
Step 6
Make indentations in the center of each cookie and fill them with a little thick jam or jelly, previously mixed with starch.
Step 7
Place the baking sheet in a preheated oven at 428°F and bake for 12 minutes until pale golden.
Step 8
Remove the cookies from the oven and transfer them to a cooling rack.
Step 9
Serve with tea or coffee.
