- Wheat Flour - 1½ glasses
- Baking Powder - 1 tablespoon
- Salt - ¼ spoons
- Activated Baking Soda - 1 tablespoon
- Mini Chocolate Chips - 3.5 oz
- Walnuts - ¾ glasses
- Butter - 4.2 oz
- Sugar - 1 glass
- Chicken Egg - 2 pieces
- Banana puree - 1 glass
- Vanilla extract - 1½ spoons
- Meyer Lemon Juice - 2 spoons
Step by Step guide
Step 1
Preheat the oven to 356°F. Grease a loaf pan with butter and lightly dust it with flour.
Step 2
In a bowl, mix together the flour, baking soda, baking powder, and salt. In a small bowl, combine the nuts and chocolate chips, then add 1 tablespoon of the flour mixture and stir well.
Step 3
Beat the softened butter until creamy. Gradually add the sugar. Then, incorporate the eggs one at a time, along with the banana puree, lemon juice, and vanilla. Add the flour mixture and mix well.
Step 4
Spread one third of the batter in the prepared pan. Sprinkle with half of the nut mixture, then layer another third of the batter on top, followed by more nuts. Finally, add the remaining batter. Dip a long knife into the batter and create a zigzag pattern.
Step 5
Bake the bread until cooked through, about 1 hour and 5 minutes. Transfer to a plate and let cool.
