Banana Buckwheat Pancakes

Ingredients

  • Buckwheat Groats - ½ cup
  • Farm fresh eggs - 2 pieces
  • Milk - ¾ cup
  • Bananas - 2 pieces
  • Activated Baking Soda - a pinch
  • Salt - a pinch
  • Sugar - a pinch
  • Butter - 8.8 oz

Step by Step guide

Step 1

Beat the eggs in a blender for one minute. Without stopping, add the sifted flour and pour in the milk.

Step 2

Finely chop the bananas and add them to the batter. Blend.

Step 3

When the batter is smooth and lump-free, add the baking soda and salt with sugar. Blend for another minute.

Step 4

In a hot skillet (preferably a frying pan), add a little butter and melt it. Pour the batter to form small round pancakes. Flip them when the batter has set and the bottom is golden brown. Grease the skillet with butter for each new batch of pancakes.

Step 5

The finished pancakes can be served with tea alongside any treat, especially a great combination with cinnamon and low-fat yogurt.
