* If you substitute regular milk for almond milk, you'll achieve that perfect flavor! But it's not so easy to go out and buy almond milk in New York :) ** The recipe doesn't include sugar, as the ideal combination of ingredients—almond milk, banana, coconut oil, and cinnamon—means you won't need it. However, if you substitute ingredients, feel free to add sugar to taste.
Ingredients
- Bananas - 1 piece
- Milk - 1 glass
- Wheat Flour - ¾ glasses
- Ground Cinnamon - ½ spoons
- Coconut Milk - 2 spoons
Step by Step guide
Step 1
Blend the milk* and banana together until smooth.
Step 2
Add the flour and cinnamon, and mix together (you can do this in the same blender or in a separate bowl).
Step 3
Melt the coconut oil (but do not overheat) and add it to the dough. You can substitute it with butter or vegetable oil, according to your taste.
Step 4
Cook on a well-heated skillet, using one tablespoon for each. This will yield small, thin, delightful pancakes.
Step 5
The finished pancakes pair wonderfully with maple syrup and are perfect for sweet tooths :)
