Description
I usually use a mug instead of a cup (it has a larger volume), while keeping the same amount of ingredients. The specified amount of ingredients yields 12 medium-sized muffins. If you are using a (not very new) gas oven, I recommend increasing the temperature by 10 degrees for the last five minutes to brown the muffins. Lastly, for added health benefits, you can add a handful of oatmeal to the batter.
Ingredients
- Salt - ½ teaspoon
- Sugar - ¾ cup
- Wheat Flour - 1½ cups
- Baking Powder - 2 teaspoons
- Bananas - 3 pieces
- Chicken Egg - 1 piece
- Butter - 2.8 oz
Step by Step guide
Step 1
Preheat the oven to 356°F.
Step 2
Mash the bananas into a puree (using a fork, potato masher, grater, or blender).
Step 3
Mix all ingredients until smooth and distribute into muffin tins (using paper liners is very convenient). If desired, you can sprinkle the muffins with oatmeal, as shown in the photo.
Step 4
Bake the muffins in the oven for 20–25 minutes, depending on their size.
