Description
If you don't have chocolate chips on hand, simply chop regular dark chocolate into small pieces.
Ingredients
- Wheat Flour - 4.9 oz
- Baking Powder - 1 teaspoon
- Ground Nutmeg - 1 teaspoon
- Salt - a pinch
- Bananas - 4 pieces
- Butter - 4.2 oz
- Egg white - 1 piece
- Sugar - 2.5 oz
- Brown Sugar - 1.8 oz
- Milk - 4 fl oz
- Chopped almonds - 3.5 oz
- Mini Chocolate Chips - to taste
Step by Step guide
Step 1
Bake for about 30 minutes until golden brown.
Step 2
Mix the first 4 ingredients: flour, baking powder, nutmeg, salt.
Step 3
In a separate bowl, mash 4 large ripe bananas into a puree, add the egg, both sugars, milk, and mix well. Then add the butter.
Step 4
Fold the dry mixture into the banana mixture, add the chopped nuts and chocolate chips to taste.
Step 5
Preheat the oven to 356°F. Grease the muffin tins with butter, fill them with the batter. Sprinkle the tops with chocolate chips (4 pieces per muffin) or the remaining nut mixture.
