Description
Banana pie with banana sauce
Ingredients
- Chicken Egg - 3 pieces
- Sugar - 10 teaspoons
- Sour Cream - 10 teaspoons
- Bananas - 5 pieces
- Butter - 3.5 oz
- Wheat Flour - 1½ glasses
- Activated Baking Soda - ½ spoons
Step by Step guide
Step 1
Whisk together 3 eggs, 6 tablespoons of sugar, and 4 tablespoons of sour cream. Gradually pour in the melted butter (100 g) and mix well.
Step 2
Mix 1.5 cups of flour with a packet of baking powder, or add 0.5 teaspoons of baking soda that has been neutralized to the dough.
Step 3
Sift the flour into the mixture and knead it.
Step 4
Cut 3 bananas into small cubes and fold them into the prepared batter.
Step 5
Grease the baking dish with butter, pour in the batter, and place it in an oven preheated to 392°F.
Step 6
Bake for 30–40 minutes, checking for doneness with a toothpick.
Step 7
Remove the hot pie from the mold and pour sauce over it. NOT ALL OF IT! Let the pie rest for a bit (but not too long — it’s tempting).
Step 8
Before serving, be sure to drizzle the pieces of pie with sauce!
Step 9
For the sauce, mash 1–2 bananas with 6 tablespoons of sour cream (preferably full-fat!) and 4 tablespoons of sugar (using a blender).
