Ingredients
- Ground Cinnamon - ¼ teaspoon
- Puff Pastry - 1½ pieces
- Butter - 2.1 oz
- Powdered Sugar - 5.6 oz
- Oranges - 1 piece
- Bananas - 4 pieces
Step by Step guide
Step 1
Preheat the oven to 356°F. Cut the butter into cubes and place it in a saucepan. Melt it, add the sugar, and stir.
Step 2
Cook until the powdered sugar is completely dissolved (the mixture should caramelize and turn a golden color).
Step 3
Meanwhile, peel the bananas, slice them lengthwise, and place them in the caramel. Remove from heat, sprinkle with cinnamon and zest.
Step 4
Roll out the pastry. Place it in a round pie dish. Layer the bananas on top and pour the syrup over them. Bake for 25–30 minutes until golden brown.
Step 5
Serve with ice cream or whipped cream, drizzled with honey and an extra sprinkle of cinnamon.
