Ingredients
- Wheat Flour - 2½ cups
- Butter - 1.1 oz
- Salt - ½ teaspoon
- Bananas - 2 pieces
- Sugar - ½ cup
- Milk - 1 cup
- Vanilla salt - a pinch
- Dry yeast - 1 tablespoon
Step by Step guide
Step 1
Sift the flour a couple of times. Mix it with vanilla.
Step 2
Peel the bananas and puree them.
Step 3
In warmed milk, dissolve the yeast with sugar.
Step 4
Add the melted and cooled butter and the banana puree. Mix everything thoroughly.
Step 5
Gradually add the flour and knead a soft dough, not too stiff. You may need more flour than indicated in the recipe, but be careful not to add too much, as the dough will become tough and the rolls will be hard. Also, avoid adding too little flour, as the rolls will spread and lose their shape. Ensure the dough is soft and slightly springy.
Step 6
Place it in a warm place. It only needs to rise once. Divide it into several parts. Roll each part into a log and cut into pieces, which you will then simply roll into rolls.
Step 7
Place on a baking sheet and brush with either egg or just milk. You can sprinkle sugar, poppy seeds, or sesame seeds on top.
Step 8
Bake at 392°F for 20–25 minutes (adjust according to your oven, as baking time may need to be decreased or increased).
