Description
Belgian beer pancakes are a delightful treat that combines the rich flavors of beer with a fluffy pancake texture. Perfect for brunch or a cozy dinner, these pancakes can be served with a drizzle of maple syrup or a dollop of whipped cream. Enjoy them with friends or family for a taste of Belgium at home.
Ingredients
- Wheat Flour - 7.1 oz
- Chicken Egg - 4 pieces
- Light Beer - 7 fl oz
- Dry yeast - 0.2 oz
- Butter - 2.1 oz
- Salt - to taste
- 10% cream - 3 fl oz
- Sugar - 4.6 oz
- Lingonberry - 3 spoons
Step by Step guide
Step 1
In a bowl, combine all the dry ingredients with the egg. Melt the butter and add it to the mixture. Whisk everything together until smooth.
Step 2
Carefully pour in the beer, making sure it doesn't foam up too much. Whisk again and then pour the mixture into silicone muffin molds.
Step 3
Place in a preheated oven at 356°F for fifteen minutes.
Step 4
Once the pancakes are baked, remove them from the oven, let them cool slightly, and take them out of the molds.
Step 5
Whip the cream with sugar until well combined — this mixture is called Chantilly cream. Serve the beer pancakes with lingonberry sauce and whipped cream.
