Berry Marzipan Pie
Ingredients
- Chicken Egg - 1 piece
- Baking Powder - 1 teaspoon
- Marzipan - 3.5 oz
- Butter - 8.8 oz
- Wheat Flour - 14.1 oz
- Sugar - 7.1 oz
- Fresh Berries - 3.5 oz
Step by Step guide
Step 1
Beat the butter (150 g) with sugar (100 g) until light in color. Add the egg and beat well. Combine the flour (300 g) and baking powder, then add to the butter mixture and mix gently.
Step 2
Grease a 24 cm diameter baking pan with butter and line the bottom with parchment paper. Pour in the batter and top with blueberries. Bake for 20–25 minutes in a preheated oven at 374°F.
Step 3
For the filling, leave the butter (100 g) at room temperature to soften. Mix it with marzipan, sugar (100 g), and flour (100 g). Place pieces of the filling on the pie and bake for another 20 minutes until golden brown.
