Description
Don't be confused by the presence of baking powder in the recipe. Baking powder is nothing more than a mixture of regular baking soda, acid, and an inert filler — starch, flour. However, if you feel more comfortable without it, you can use 1 teaspoon of baking soda instead of baking powder.
Ingredients
- Wheat Flour - 5.3 oz
- Butter - 1.8 oz
- Sugar - 2.1 oz
- Chicken Egg - 1 piece
- Baking Powder - 1 teaspoon
- Salt - to taste
Step by Step guide
Step 1
For the dough, melt half of the butter. Mix the remaining butter with sugar and the melted butter. Add the egg, crushed with salt. Add the sifted flour with baking powder. Knead a homogeneous dough and place it in the refrigerator for about 30–40 minutes to firm up.
Step 2
Now, let your imagination run wild and shape the cookies. Bake in a preheated oven at 428°F for 7–8 minutes.
