Ingredients
- Walnuts - to taste
- Wheat Flour - 17.6 oz
- Honey - 10.6 oz
- Sugar - 10.6 oz
- Chocolate eggs - 6 pieces
- Sour Cream - 24.7 oz
- Powdered Sugar - 7.1 oz
- "Dr. Oetker Vanilla Sugar" - 2.8 oz
- Activated Baking Soda - 2 teaspoons
- Liquid dark chocolate - 2.5 oz
Step by Step guide
Step 1
First, prepare the dough and the layers. Whisk the eggs and sugar until light and fluffy.
Step 2
Add the baking soda and honey (if the honey is thick, melt it in a water bath).
Step 3
Grind the walnuts in a meat grinder and add them to the egg-honey mixture.
Step 4
Add the sifted flour. The dough will be thick.
Step 5
Grease a rectangular baking pan with vegetable oil and line it with parchment paper.
Step 6
Spread 1/4 of the dough evenly in the pan.
Step 7
Bake in a preheated oven at 356°F for about 15 minutes until a nice bronze color.
Step 8
Bake 4 layers this way, cool them, and trim the edges evenly, then bake the trimmings in the oven until brown, cool, and grind in a food processor.
Step 9
The cream is very simple to prepare. Whip the sour cream with powdered sugar.
Step 10
Assembly. Generously spread cream on each layer. Also coat the sides and sprinkle with the crushed trimmings.
Step 11
Grate the chocolate and sprinkle it on top of the cake.
