It's best to thaw the frozen cherries on the top shelf of the refrigerator.

Pour the cherries along with the liquid from the package into a skillet and add 2 tablespoons of sugar.
Step 3
Bring to a boil until the water from the sauce starts bubbling, then pour in the wine and simmer for about 5-10 minutes on low heat to let the alcohol evaporate, but do not overcook.
Step 4
In a dessert dish, layer the yogurt, warm cherries, and granola. Repeat all layers.
Step 5
