Black Rowan Smoothie
Ingredients
- Black Rowan - 1 cup
- Beans - 1 piece
- Antonovka apples - 4 pieces
- Lemon - 1 piece
- Carrot - 3 pieces
- Avocado - 1 piece
Step by Step guide
Step 1
Juice 4 large green apples (preferably Antonovka) and 3 large carrots (if small, increase the quantity).
Step 2
Remove the black rowan berries from the branches and wash them well.
Step 3
Juice the lemon.
Step 4
Peel the avocado and remove the pit (you can actually skip the avocado; its role in the smoothie is to provide creaminess, and its flavor is so neutral compared to the other ingredients that omitting it won't affect the quality).
Step 5
In a blender, blend the avocado, banana, black rowan berries, apple-carrot juice, and 1 cup of milk (I use almond milk, but you can use any type: regular, rice, etc.) for 5 minutes until smooth.
Step 6
If necessary, add more juice or milk to achieve the desired consistency and blend again.
Step 7
Serve, garnished with a slice of apple.
