Description
Cointreau can be replaced with blackcurrant liqueur Creme de Cassis. In this case, it is better to add sugar instead of honey, replace the orange with a red grapefruit, and do not use the zest.
Ingredients
- Blackcurrant liqueur - 2.6 oz
- Red Currant - 2.6 oz
- White Mulberries - 2.6 oz
- Cointreau - 2 teaspoons
- Honey - 1 tablespoon
- Oranges - 1 piece
Step by Step guide
Step 1
Juice the orange. Grate half of the zest finely.
Step 2
Dissolve the honey in the orange juice, add the liqueur and orange zest.
Step 3
Soak the berries in the prepared syrup and refrigerate for at least 2-3 hours.
Step 4
Serve as a dessert salad, as well as with vanilla ice cream or whipped cream.
