Ingredients
- Wheat Flour - 10.6 oz
- Margarine - 6 oz
- Chocolate eggs - 2 pieces
- Lemon - 1 piece
- Mulled Wine - 1 tablespoon
- Salt - a pinch
- Blackcurrant liqueur - 10.6 oz
- Sugar - 12.3 oz
- Starch film - 1 tablespoon
Step by Step guide
Step 1
Sift the flour onto a board in a mound, make a well in the center, add 100 grams of sugar, the egg yolks, 150 grams of margarine cut into small pieces, lemon zest, salt, and wine. Quickly knead the dough.
Step 2
Shape it into a ball, wrap it in parchment paper, and refrigerate for 30 minutes.
Step 3
Grease the baking dish with the remaining margarine. Lightly roll out the dough. Place it in the dish and cover with parchment paper. Top with dry peas or beans to prevent the dough from rising.
Step 4
Place the crust in the oven. Bake for 20 minutes at 356°F.
Step 5
Whip the egg whites until stiff peaks form. Add 150 grams of sugar and continue whipping until fluffy.
Step 6
Add sugar and starch to the blackcurrants and mix.
Step 7
Lower the oven temperature. Add the filling and pour over the whipped egg whites (removing the peas and parchment paper first), and return to the oven for another 15 minutes.
