Ingredients

  • Fresh Berries - 7.1 oz
  • Wheat Flour - 10.6 oz
  • Butter - 1.8 oz
  • Milk - 4 fl oz
  • Chicken Egg - 1 piece
  • Sugar - 4 tablespoons
  • Dry yeast - 0.5 oz
  • Salt - a pinch

Step by Step guide

Step 1

Warm the milk slightly (it should not boil), add sugar and dissolve the yeast in it. Let it sit in a warm place without drafts for about 15 minutes.

Step 2

Beat the egg and most of the melted butter with a fork. Pour the egg mixture into the risen yeast. Gently mix. Add flour and salt, knead the dough, and let it rise for 1 to 1.5 hours.

Step 3

Place the risen dough on a floured surface, roll it out to a thickness of about 10 mm. Brush with melted butter and sprinkle with the remaining sugar. Distribute the blueberries evenly over the surface of the dough, then press the berries in with a rolling pin. Roll into a log, then cut into pieces about 2 cm thick. Turn them over, flatten slightly with your hand, and place them on a greased baking sheet so that they touch each other. Cover with a towel and let rise for about 20 minutes.

Step 4

Bake in a preheated oven at 356°F until done. Serve warm.
