Description
Blueberry Muffin
Ingredients
- All-purpose flour - 6.3 oz
- Egg - 2 pieces
- Milk - 3 fl oz
- Butter - 2.1 oz
- Sugar - 2.8 oz
- Baking Powder - 1 teaspoon
- Blueberries - 3.5 oz
Step by Step guide
Step 1
In a bowl, whisk together until smooth: eggs, milk, and melted butter.
Step 2
Mix the flour with baking powder, add sugar (and vanilla if desired), and stir. Combine the resulting mixture with the egg and milk mixture, and mix well.
Step 3
Thaw the blueberries, drain the juice, and dry them on a paper towel. Add the blueberries to the batter. Gently fold in (try not to crush the berries).
Step 4
Pour the resulting batter into a baking pan; grease a metal pan with butter, silicone pans do not need greasing.
Step 5
Bake the muffin for 30-40 minutes in a preheated oven at 190°C.
Step 6
The finished muffin should rise and be golden brown. When pierced with a toothpick, no batter should stick. Carefully remove the muffin from the pan and, if desired, sprinkle with powdered sugar.
