Ingredients
- Unleavened dough - 28.2 oz
- Butter - 7.1 oz
- Fresh Berries - 2 cups
- Date honey - 0.3 cups
- Sugar - ½ cup
- Chicken Egg - 1 piece
Step by Step guide
Step 1
Prepare the filling. Heat honey with butter and sugar over low heat (the honey should become liquid), cool to room temperature, then mix with blueberries.
Step 2
Roll out two identical rectangles of dough (the size of the baking sheet).
Step 3
Transfer one layer of dough to a greased baking sheet, and spread the prepared filling on top.
Step 4
Cover with the second layer of dough, brush with beaten egg, and pinch the edges.
Step 5
Bake in a preheated oven at 180–392°F until ready, then immediately brush the pie with butter.
