Description
Blueberry pie with mascarpone
Ingredients
- Wheat Flour - 4.6 oz
- Salt - a pinch
- Powdered Sugar - 6 teaspoons
- Frozen Raspberries - 10.6 oz
- Vanilla salt - 1 tablespoon
- Mascarpone Cheese Unagrande - 8.8 oz
- Butter - 4.6 oz
Step by Step guide
Step 1
In a bowl, mix the flour, 2 tablespoons of powdered sugar, and salt. Add the cold, grated butter and knead the dough: at first, it will be crumbly, but then, with the warmth of your hands, it will become more and more elastic. Grease a pie dish with butter, dust with flour, press the dough into the dish, and place it in the freezer for at least 15–20 minutes.
Step 2
Preheat the oven to 392°F. Bake the pie crust for 20–25 minutes until golden brown. Allow to cool.
Step 3
Whip the mascarpone with the remaining powdered sugar and vanilla. Thaw the blueberries, drain the juice thoroughly, and gently fold them into the cream using a spoon.
Step 4
Fill the base with the cream and refrigerate for at least 1 hour.
