Description
Bounty with Dark Chocolate
Ingredients
- Cottage cheese - 7.1 oz
- Shredded Coconut - 1.8 oz
- Honey - 1 tablespoon
- Non-Fat Dry Milk - 1 tablespoon
- Vanillin - a pinch
- Stevia Extract - to taste
- 70% Dark Chocolate - 4.2 oz
Step by Step guide
Step 1
In a bowl, mix the cottage cheese, shredded coconut, dry milk, honey, vanillin, and stevia until smooth.
Step 2
The mixture is quite moldable, but you can wet your hands with water if necessary.
Step 3
Shape the cottage cheese mixture into candies of any shape (I made them in the form of portioned halves of the original chocolate bar, resulting in 7 pieces), place them on a plate, and put them in the freezer for about 20 minutes.
Step 4
Break the chocolate into small pieces (this will help it melt faster), place it in a glass bowl, and set it over a pot of water with a slightly smaller diameter so that the bottom of the bowl does not touch the water.
Step 5
Place the setup over heat and melt the chocolate in a water bath, stirring constantly until the pieces completely dissolve and a fairly liquid chocolate mass forms.
Step 6
Remove the candies from the freezer and dip them one by one into the chocolate glaze, keeping it over the water bath so it doesn't thicken again (if needed, you can thin it with 1-2 teaspoons of water).
Step 7
Evenly coated candies should be placed back on the plate, then put them in the refrigerator until the glaze is completely set.
