  • Sugar - 7.1 oz
  • Water - 1 fl oz
  • Brandy - 1 qt
  • Pitted Wild Apricots - 2 lbs
  • Orange zest - 4 pieces
  • Allspice berries - 0.2 oz

Step by Step guide

Step 1

In a saucepan, combine sugar and water. Bring to a boil, stirring until the sugar dissolves, and cook for 1 minute without stirring. Remove from heat and add the brandy. Stir and let cool to room temperature.

Step 2

Divide the prunes into half-liter jars, adding pieces of orange zest and allspice to each jar. Then pour in the syrup, seal with a lid, and refrigerate. Leave in a cool, dark place for 1 month.
