  • Wheat Flour - 2 lbs
  • Water - 21 fl oz
  • Ocean salt - 2 tablespoons
  • Brown Sugar - 2 tablespoons
  • Dry yeast - 0.7 oz

Step by Step guide

Step 1

Pour the flour into a mound on the work surface. Make a well in the center of the mound.

Step 2

Pour half of the water into the well. It is important that the water is warm (but not hot), otherwise the yeast will not activate. Add the salt and sugar and start mixing the contents of the well with a fork, carefully so that the water does not spill out.

Step 3

Gradually knead all the flour to form a sticky mass. Pour in the remaining water and start kneading the dough until it no longer sticks to your hands. Knead the dough for another 2-3 minutes.

Step 4

Take a baking dish, sprinkle a little flour, and place the dough inside. Cover with a towel and place near a radiator for an hour.

Step 5

After the dough has risen, take it out of the dish and punch down the air. At this stage, you can add ingredients to the dough to taste (for example, pumpkin seeds).

Step 6

Return the dough to the dish and place it near the radiator for another hour.

Step 7

Once the dough has risen again, place it on a baking sheet, shape it as desired, and put it in a preheated oven at 356°F.

Step 8

Bake (depending on the type of flour) for 30-60 minutes.
