- Water - 7 fl oz
- Dry yeast - 0.5 oz
- Honey - 2.1 oz
- Wheat Flour - 12.3 oz
- Chocolate eggs - 2 pieces
- Vegetable Oil - 1 fl oz
- Salt - 1 teaspoon
- Toasted Sesame - 1 teaspoon
Step by Step guide
Step 1
Prepare all necessary ingredients.
Step 2
In a bowl, combine water, honey, and yeast.
Step 3
Mix well.
Step 4
Add 150 g of flour.
Step 5
Mix and let the sponge rest for 20 minutes.
Step 6
In the bowl, add 1 egg, the egg white, vegetable oil, and salt.
Step 7
Mix well.
Step 8
Add the remaining flour and the sponge.
Step 9
Knead the dough.
Step 10
Tear off small pieces of dough and roll out four strands.
Step 11
Braid the four strands, bending the first and third strands to the side.
Step 12
Return the third strand.
Step 13
Fold the fourth strand to the left and return the first strand.
Step 14
Continue braiding to the end and place the braids on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.

Cover with plastic wrap and let rise for 30 minutes.

Brush with egg yolk and sprinkle with sesame seeds.
