Description
Bread in a Multicooker
Ingredients
- Salt - 2 teaspoons
- Dry yeast - 1.1 oz
- Sugar - 1 teaspoon
- Milk - 17 fl oz
- Wheat Flour - 2 lbs
- Butter - 1.8 oz
Step by Step guide
Step 1
Dissolve the yeast with sugar in a few tablespoons of warm water or milk, cover with plastic wrap, and wait for foam (about 10 minutes). Then add half a liter of milk. Add 50 g of melted butter and salt.
Step 2
Mix in 5 multicooker cups of flour (160 g per cup) and knead — the dough will be slightly sticky and not too dense. Place it in a warm area covered with plastic wrap (I put it in the bathroom near the radiator on a towel) — let it rise. Then knead again and add about 3 multicooker cups of flour so that the dough is not too stiff.
Step 3
Grease the multicooker with butter, turn on the warming mode (usually activated by pressing cancel in any mode) for 15 minutes, placing the dough inside without closing the lid. Then bake in the Baking mode for 65 minutes on one side + 45 minutes on the other (check how long it bakes in your multicooker and adjust according to regular time).
Step 4
You can check readiness with a toothpick, but in a multicooker, it usually bakes well and does not burn in that time. At the end, do not take the bread out immediately; instead, unplug the multicooker, open it, and let it cool for about 30 minutes. Do not cut until the bread has cooled.
