- Stale Bread - 7.1 oz
- Milk - 10 fl oz
- Sugar - 1.8 oz
- Vanillin - 0 oz
- Grapefruits - to taste
- Farm fresh eggs - 2 pieces
- Cinnamon - to taste
Step by Step guide
Step 1
Mix the milk, eggs, sugar, vanillin, and cinnamon if desired.
Step 2
Place pieces of sliced bread tightly together at the bottom of a baking dish, pour part of the egg-milk mixture over it, then layer another set of bread pieces on top.
Step 3
After that, add the sliced fruits (or raisins and dried fruits).
Step 4
Finally, pour the egg mixture over everything again.
Step 5
Let the bread soak for a few minutes and then place it in a preheated oven at 356°F for about 40-50 minutes. It is best to bake it in a water bath by placing the pudding dish in a larger dish filled with water.
