Description

Brioche rolls are soft, sweet, and buttery treats that are perfect for breakfast or as a delightful snack. These rolls are made with a rich dough that includes eggs and milk, giving them a tender crumb and a lovely golden color. Serve them warm with butter, jam, or your favorite spread for a truly indulgent experience.

Ingredients

  • Wheat Flour - 17.6 oz
  • Sugar - 3.5 oz
  • Salt - ½ spoons
  • Dry yeast - 1 tablespoon
  • Butter - 7.1 oz
  • Chicken Egg - 6 pieces
  • Milk - 3 fl oz
  • Whole egg - 1 piece

Step by Step guide

Step 1

Dissolve the yeast and sugar in warm milk.

Step 2

Sift the flour with the salt.

Step 3

Then add the yeast and sugar to the lightly beaten eggs. While continuing to beat, gradually add the flour. Knead the dough for about 5 minutes, until it becomes elastic. The dough should easily pull away from the sides of the bowl and not stick to your hands.

Step 4

Add the softened butter to the mixture and mix everything thoroughly.

Step 5

Cover the bowl with the dough with plastic wrap and let it rest for about 1 hour to double in size.

Step 6

Then knead the dough again, cover it with plastic wrap, and place it in the refrigerator for 4 hours. It's better to leave it in the fridge overnight.

Step 7

After 4 hours (or overnight), remove the dough from the refrigerator and let it warm up for about 30–40 minutes. Then divide the dough into rolls and let them rise for 30 minutes at room temperature.

Step 8

Beat the egg yolk with water and brush it over the risen rolls, then sprinkle with sugar.

Step 9

Bake at 356°F until golden brown.
