Broccoli and Shrimp Pie
Ingredients
- Broccoli - 28.2 oz
- Puff Pastry - 17.6 oz
- King Prawns - 15.9 oz
- 10% cream - 12 fl oz
- Chocolate eggs - 8 pieces
- Grated Pecorino Pepato Cheese - 4 tablespoons
- Nutmeg - a pinch
- Wheat Flour - 5 tablespoons
- Butter - 1 tablespoon
- Salt - to taste
- Ground Black Pepper - to taste
Step by Step guide
Step 1
Thaw the pastry at room temperature.
Step 2
Prepare the filling.
Step 3
Place the shrimp in boiling salted water for 3 minutes, then drain and cool.
Step 4
Peel the shells, heads, and intestinal veins.
Step 5
Thaw the broccoli, then place it in boiling salted water for 2 minutes.
Step 6
After that, transfer it to a bowl of ice water for 2 minutes using a slotted spoon, then drain and let the water drain well.
Step 7
Roll out the dough on a floured surface.
Step 8
Cut out a circle slightly larger than the diameter of the baking dish.

Grease a springform pan with butter and line it with parchment paper.

Carefully place the dough in the pan so that it covers the bottom and extends 2-3 cm up the sides.

Spread the broccoli and shrimp over the dough.

Preheat the oven to 220 °C.

Whisk together the eggs and cream. Add grated nutmeg. Season with salt and pepper.
