Ingredients
- Salted Butter - 3.9 oz
- Liquid dark chocolate - 2.1 oz
- Granulated sugar - ½ cup
- Large eggs - 2 pieces
- Brown Sugar - ½ cup
- Vanilla extract - ½ teaspoon
- Wheat Flour - ½ cup
- Mini Chocolate Chips - 4.2 oz
- Chopped almonds - 2.1 oz
Step by Step guide
Step 1
Preheat the oven to 356°F. Grease a 20x20 cm square baking pan with butter.
Step 2
In a saucepan over low heat, melt the chopped chocolate and butter, stirring. Remove from heat and let cool to room temperature.
Step 3
Meanwhile, in a large bowl, beat the eggs with the granulated and brown sugars using a mixer. Add the vanilla and chocolate mixture. Mix well.
Step 4
Add the flour and gently fold in (do not beat — the batter will become very dense).
Step 5
Add half of the chocolate chips and mix again.
Step 6
Pour into the pan and sprinkle with the remaining chocolate chips and almonds.
Step 7
Bake for 25–30 minutes until done, checking with a toothpick.
