Brownies with Vanilla Glaze
Ingredients
- Liquid dark chocolate - 8.8 oz
- Butter - 10.6 oz
- Sugar - 15.9 oz
- Farm fresh eggs - 6 pieces
- Wheat Flour - 6.7 oz
- Vanilla extract - 3 teaspoons
- Salt - ½ teaspoon
- Granulated sugar - 2.6 oz
- Brandy - 3 tablespoons
- Powdered Sugar - 8.5 oz
Step by Step guide
Step 1
Break the chocolate into small pieces and melt it in a saucepan with part of the butter (225 grams). Remove the chocolate from heat, add the eggs, 2/3 of the vanilla extract, flour, salt, and sugar — mix until smooth.
Step 2
Line a baking dish with foil and grease it with vegetable oil. Pour the chocolate batter into the dish and bake for 30 minutes in an oven at 356°F.
Step 3
While the cake is baking, prepare the glaze. For the glaze, melt 75 grams of butter, add the granulated sugar and the remaining vanilla extract. Stir. Remove the mixture from heat, add the brandy, powdered sugar, and mix again.
Step 4
Spread the cooled cake with the glaze and cut into squares.
