Buckwheat Bread

Ingredients

  • Green Buckwheat Groats - 2 cups
  • Chia Seeds - 3.5 oz
  • Plant-based Cream - 7 fl oz
  • Baking Soda - 1 teaspoon
  • Flax seeds - to taste
  • Shelled pumpkin seeds - to taste
  • Sunflower Seeds - to taste
  • Sesame Seeds - to taste

Step by Step guide

Step 1

Soak the green buckwheat overnight. Pour chia seeds with milk or cream and let them absorb completely.

Step 2

Place the buckwheat and chia in a blender, add salt and baking soda. Blend until the buckwheat is partially ground. The mixture should be uneven. Add seeds and spices to taste.

Step 3

Transfer to a greased baking dish and sprinkle with seeds on top for decoration.

Step 4

Bake in a preheated oven at 356°F for 60 minutes.

Step 5

Let the bread rest for at least 30 minutes.
