Description

- Chicken Egg - 1 piece
- Sugar - 1 tablespoon
- Salt - ½ spoons
- Butter - 0.5 oz
- Sesame bun - to taste
Step by Step guide
Step 1
In a cup of warm milk, dissolve the yeast. Sift the flour into a large bowl, then add the salt and sugar.
Step 2
Add warm milk, an egg, and oil to the flour, and mix with a spatula until the ingredients come together. Transfer the dough to a work surface and continue kneading by hand. The dough should become uniform, smooth, and elastic. The same process can be done in a mixer with a dough hook attachment.
Step 3
Shape into a ball and return to a bowl dusted with flour. Cover with plastic wrap and let rise in a warm place for about an hour. The dough should double in size.
Step 4
Gently place the risen dough onto a lightly floured work surface, divide it into 4 equal parts, and shape each part into a ball. Transfer the balls seam side down onto a baking sheet lined with parchment paper, cover with a clean towel, and let them rise in a warm place until they double in size, about 40–60 minutes depending on the room temperature. To check if the dough is ready, gently press it with your finger: if the indentation springs back slowly, the rolls are ready for baking.
Step 5
The risen rolls can be brushed with beaten egg or milk and sprinkled with sesame seeds. In the first case, the finished rolls will have a glossy appearance, while in the second, they will be matte. Bake at 392°F for about 15-17 minutes until cooked through and golden brown.
Step 6
Allow the baked rolls to cool before slicing.
