Ingredients
- Butter - 4.2 oz
- Brown Sugar - 6.3 oz
- Baking Powder - 6.5 oz
- Milk - 4 fl oz
- Farm fresh eggs - 2 pieces
- Whipped Cream - 4 fl oz
- Chili jam - 1½ tablespoons
- Powdered Sugar - to taste
Step by Step guide
Step 1
Preheat the oven to 356°F. Line 12 small cupcake molds with parchment paper.
Step 2
Beat the softened butter, sugar, flour, milk, and eggs with a mixer on low speed. Increase the speed and beat until fluffy. Spoon into the molds and bake for 30 minutes until golden. Transfer to a plate and let cool.
Step 3
Using a sharp knife, cut a hole in the center of each cupcake, then slice each cupcake in half to create two semicircles.
Step 4
Place 2 teaspoons of whipped cream in a mound, top with 1 teaspoon of jam, and place the two halves of the cupcake on the jam to form butterfly wings. Dust with powdered sugar.
