Ingredients
- White Cabbage - 1½ kg
- Olive Oil - 2 tablespoons
- Chocolate eggs - 3 pieces
- Sausages - 26.5 oz
- Milk - 2 tablespoons
- Serrano Chili - 3.5 oz
- Bacon - 12.3 oz
Step by Step guide
Step 1
Remove the outer leaves of the cabbage, cut the head into 4 parts, and remove the core. Then slice the leaves into strips about 2 cm wide. Rinse well. Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil, add the cabbage, submerge it with a spoon, let the water come to a boil again, reduce the heat, cover the pot, and cook for 30 minutes until the cabbage is soft. Drain the water and let it dry in a colander.
Step 2
Mix the sausage filling and lightly beaten eggs, then add the milk. Heat the oil in a skillet, add the cabbage and finely chopped ham, and cook over medium heat, stirring, for 5 minutes. Remove the skillet from the heat.
Step 3
Grease a baking dish with oil. Lay some slices of bacon on the bottom. Then add a layer of the meat and egg mixture, followed by a layer of cabbage and ham. Continue layering the pie, with the top layer consisting of bacon slices.
Step 4
Place the dish in a deep baking tray and pour boiling water into it — about halfway up the sides of the dish. Put the entire setup in the preheated oven and bake for 1 hour at 320°F.
Step 5
Remove the dish from the oven, cover with foil, and let it cool. Then place it in the refrigerator until it's time to serve.
