Ingredients
- Kefir - 1 cup
- Chicken Egg - 3 pieces
- Activated Baking Soda - 1 teaspoon
- Sugar - 1½ cups
- Butter - 3.5 oz
- Wheat Flour - 1½ cups
- Sour Cream - 26.5 oz
- Vanilla salt - to taste
- Cocoa Powder - ½ cup
Step by Step guide
Step 1
Place the butter in the freezer.
Step 2
Meanwhile, mix the kefir and baking soda with a mixer. Add the eggs and sugar. Mix well.
Step 3
Grate the frozen butter and add it to the batter. Also add cocoa and flour — mix everything thoroughly.
Step 4
Bake two layers from the resulting batter. Each layer should be cut in half lengthwise, resulting in 4 layers.
Step 5
While the layers are baking, prepare the cream. Mix the sour cream well with vanilla sugar and granulated sugar, then refrigerate.
Step 6
When the layers are ready, place the thickest layer on a plate — it will soak better than the others. Spread a moderate amount of cream on it. Continue layering: layer — cream — layer — cream. Don’t be stingy with the cream; the more you use, the better the layers will soak. You can decorate the top with remaining crumbs or nuts — to taste.
